A bath sachet is a delightful way to infuse your bathwater with soothing scents and beneficial ingredients.  Think of it as a giant tea bag for your bath!

A bath sachet is a small, porous bag filled with a blend of dried herbs, flowers, salts, and essential oils. When placed in warm bathwater, the ingredients release their aromas and therapeutic properties, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

What to Put in a Bath Sachet:

The possibilities are endless! Here are some popular ingredients and their potential benefits:

  • Relaxation: Lavender, chamomile, rose petals, lemon balm, oat straw
  • Muscle Soothing: Epsom salts, sea salt, arnica flowers, ginger
  • Skin Softening: Colloidal oatmeal, milk powder, coconut milk powder
  • Uplifting: Citrus peels (orange, lemon, grapefruit), peppermint, rosemary
  • Detoxifying: Dead Sea salt, bentonite clay, green tea
  • Aromatherapy: Essential oils (use with caution and dilute properly)

Select a blend of herbs, salts, and other ingredients based on your desired benefits. Start with a small amount of each ingredient and adjust to your preference.

Carefully fill your sachet halfway with the mixture, this will leave room for herbs to expand as they rehydrate. Securely tie the sachet closed.

  • Run a warm bath: Fill your bathtub with warm water. Avoid hot water, as it can dry out your skin.
  • Place the sachet in the water: Drop the bath sachet into the warm water and let it steep for a few minutes, allowing the ingredients to release their aromas and properties.
  • Enjoy your bath! Soak in the infused water and relax. You can gently squeeze the sachet to release more of the beneficial ingredients.
  • Easy Cleanup! After using the sachet, squeeze out as much water as possible, turn inside out and deposit used herbs into compost bin.
  • Care & Storage: Hang it in a well-ventilated area to dry completely. This is crucial to prevent mold and bacteria growth. Once dry, store the sachet in a cool, dry place.
